Tucker R. Crockett
Principal
Tucker brings nearly two decades of sales, hospitality and commercial real estate experience to the business, most recently serving as the Director of U.S. Workplace Sales for Convene and as a Site Specialist for the McDevitt company. While at Convene, Tucker oversaw the company's U.S. leasing strategy for its co-working business, and while at McDevitt, Tucker was responsible for real estate tenant and landlord representation as well as acquisitions and development for the Mid-Atlantic region. Tucker has represented notable national tenants such as Urban Outfitters, Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, Paper Source, Michael Mina, Simon Pearce, Leap Inc., etc. in addition to providing brokerage and development advisory services for premier landlords and developers such as Brookfield, Forest City, QIC and Starwood Retail Partners.
Prior to McDevitt, Tucker was a Partner at Tributary Real Estate, a boutique investment/development firm in Denver, Colorado where he focused on acquisitions and brokerage. Tucker spent nearly a decade in New York City focused on business development, working at Bloomberg LP and Resource Real Estate in New York.
Tucker holds his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hobart College, where he played Varsity Soccer and Squash, and his MBA from Drexel University LeBow College of Business. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Tucker resides outside of Washington D.C. with his wife, Karla, and their two kids. When not working or with his family, you can find Tucker skiing out west or on the doubles squash court.
Karla H. Crockett
Principal
With more than 15-years of experience in the communications and hospitality industries, Karla brings a unique perspective that leverages her deep experience in communications, her creative, solutions-oriented approach and her attention to detail all with a focus on hospitality and a customer-first mentality.
Karla’s previous experience in the communications industry covers event planning/production in addition to internal and external communications (i.e., executive, employee, crisis, B2B and B2C media relations) for both start-ups and global, multi-national companies. Most recently, Karla was Director of Brand Planning & Innovation at Hilton where she worked on enterprise-wide initiatives, budgeting and 3-5 year brand planning. Prior to that, Karla was the Director of Luxury & Lifestyle brand communications where she oversaw the global communications strategy for the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio at Hilton, including the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR and Canopy brands.
Prior to Hilton, Karla spent the majority of her time on the communications agency side both at Ground Floor Media (GFM) in Denver and Edelman in New York. While at GFM, Karla honed her B2C media relations skills supporting food & beverage clients such as MAD Greens and Earth Balance. While at Edelman, Karla focused primarily on B2B communications for General Electric and Heineken USA.
Karla holds her Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University where she also played varsity lacrosse. Karla grew up in the Washington DC area where she now currently resides with Tucker and and their two kids.
